Ryan was born in Mt. Carmel, IL and raised in the Newburgh and Evansville areas. He graduated from Reitz Memorial High School and went on to attend the University of Southern Indiana. There he received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2005, majoring in political science. Inspired by an avid interest in aviation, Ryan also earned his Private Pilot’s License shortly after graduation. Between 2005 and 2013, he was employed in retail store management for businesses that include a Fortune 500 office supply company. It was also during this time that Ryan took the initiative to earn several IT certifications that included CompTIA A+ and Network+. In May of 2013, Ryan joined Kemper Technology Consulting in the role of IT consultant. During subsequent years, he earned additional certifications including Microsoft MCSA, MCSE, and MCP. In support of the firm’s accounting software needs, he is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and regularly advises clients in that capacity. As a complement to that specialty, he is a contact for point-of-sale software solutions. Much of his client support is also dedicated to general network infrastructure.
Since 2020 Ryan has managed and overseen the critical internal IT support for the Evansville, Mt. Carmel, Henderson, and Morganfield offices. He is currently engaged in the collective management of the Evansville KTC staff. Finally, Ryan was a participant in the 2017 Rainmaker program.
Ryan resides in Newburgh, Indiana with his wife Erin and two children.
