Andy J. Vogt was raised in Effingham, Illinois, and is a 2001 graduate of St. Anthony High School. He attended the University of Eastern Illinois University, and graduated in 2006 with bachelor of science degrees in accounting and finance, cum laude. He passed the CPA exam, and received his Missouri CPA license in 2008.
Andy began his career with Lopata, Flegel & Company out of St. Louis in July 2006 as a tax accountant. He worked there for five years before returning to the Effingham community. Andy accepted a full-time accounting position with Kemper CPA Group on July 15, 2011.
Andy specializes in multistate corporate & partnership taxation. He is expanding his knowledge of farm taxation as well as estate and trust taxation and small business consulting. He has extensive knowledge in state income and franchise tax.
Andy is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys golfing, tennis, bike riding, swimming and running.
