Ivan graduated from Reitz High School in 2015 and pursued his passion for technology and innovation at Vincennes University, where he earned an associate degree in computer networking and security from the School of Technology. Continuing his educational journey, he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in supply chain and industrial management from Purdue University in 2020.
Growing up immersed in the world of agriculture, Ivan developed a natural curiosity and aptitude for rebuilding and improving systems—a trait that would shape his career path. His affinity for security and technology led him to establish his own venture, IM Systems LLC, during high school and operate it through college, providing surveillance and IT solutions to farms and businesses.
Ivan's professional journey began early, as he gained invaluable experience in electronics while attending the Southern Indiana Career and Technical Center, specializing in electricity and robotics. During high school, he also delved into the realm of AM/FM broadcast, contributing to engineering projects across the tristate area and honing his skills in RF, high/low-voltage systems, tower work, and networking.
In 2017, Ivan transitioned to a role as an L3 network specialist at Metronet, where he focused on building and troubleshooting L2/L3 network issues for a 100% fiber optic ISP. Despite working on country-wide infrastructure projects, his passion for local community support drew him back.
Throughout his career, Ivan has acquired a diverse range of certifications from organizations like the Society of Broadcast Engineers, Cisco, AWS, and Google. In 2020, he joined Kemper Technology Consulting as a network consultant, leveraging his extensive background in both large- and small-scale networks to deliver tailored solutions that add value to clients while adhering to industry standards and ensuring longevity.
