Jason Shaw, CPA obtained his Bachelor of Science in accountancy from the University of Illinois, and joined the Champaign office of Kemper CPA Group LLP in the fall of 2016.
Jason began his career in public accounting in 2005 as a staff accountant with a local central Illinois firm serving the tax and bookkeeping needs of local businesses and individuals. In 2007, Jason joined a large national accounting firm to serve local, national, and international privately held businesses and their owners, nonprofit organizations, and fiduciaries. Jason has served clients in various industries, with a special emphasis in Manufacturing & Distribution, Construction, Insurance, and Transportation.
Jason has been involved with tax review, preparation, planning and compliance throughout his career. In addition, Jason has been heavily involved in business development, hiring & mentoring of staff, performance of due diligence on purchase & sales and leading office training seminars.
