Jennifer Birkner graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri - St. Louis in 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, while also competing as a student athlete. She then attended Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, graduating in 2015 with a Master of Accountancy degree, where she also earned the PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP Outstanding MAcc Student Award. She successfully passed the CPA exam in 2016.
Jennifer began her career at Kemper CPA Group LLP in January 2015 as a tax intern in the Harrisburg, Illinois office and transitioned to a full-time position in the Mt. Vernon, Illinois office. Jennifer became a partner in 2023.
Jennifer’s work mainly consists of recurring monthly services (payroll, bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, consulting, etc.) with a heavy focus in the oil and gas industry. For various clients, she performs outsourced CFO work, presents monthly and annual financial statements to boards, and attends monthly/quarterly board meetings. Jennifer has extensive knowledge in tax preparation for individuals and businesses, specializing in industries such as oil and gas and agriculture. She also provides QuickBooks and PakEnergy consulting to clients.
