Luke was born and raised in Champaign, Illinois. He graduated from Centennial High School in 1998 and attended the University of Illinois from the fall of 1998 through the spring of 2003. After graduating in the spring of 2003 with his Bachelor of Science in accountancy, he began his accounting career working for a non-profit organization from the fall of 2003 until 2006, and then worked as a senior corporate accountant in 2007 and 2008.
Luke passed the CPA exam in 2008 and began his career with the Champaign office of Kemper CPA Group LLP in May of 2009. Luke manages most of the audits conducted out of the Champaign office. His primary areas of emphasis in auditing include non-profit organizations, construction clients, and 401(k) plans. Luke has also been focused on managing other client services such as bookkeeping and non-profit tax returns.
