Tom started his career as a staff accountant for Kemper CPA Group LLP and ultimately advanced to become an accounting firm partner. After recognizing the need for the CPA firm’s clients to receive comprehensive financial services, he was instrumental in establishing the financial services division that later became Kemper Capital Management. As a practicing Certified Financial Planner, he enjoys helping clients reach their goals in a smart way.
He is married to wife Kathleen and has two grown daughters, Heather and Jessica. Outside of work, he is active in the community. He is on the board of Crawford Memorial Hospital and is a Past Master of Oblong City Masonic Lodge. Personally, he enjoys traveling, reading, fantasy football, and is active in local community theater, where he has been on stage with his wife and daughters.
